There are so many great brands that offer quality products but at such a high cost. I love Aldo because they have great products at a reasonable price. The actress was spotted out and about in NYC looking like that last Friday (September 3). Heck, I don’t even mind the chunky sandals she wore the whole outfit with, even if some may consider the pair a tad ugly looking; it made the outfit look perfectly dressed down.

Life is really unfair. Naomi Watts is 42 years old, but she still looks like this:

The lady can pass as thirty despite her age; she can even compete with the twenty somethings if she wanted to. Doesn’t she look fabulous even without make-up? Vanessa Hudgens got into some trouble last May 27. She illegally parked her car in a handicapped spot!

I guess it’s not that big of a deal but when you’re a famous celebrity like Vanessa Hudgens, it’s probably not a good idea to do something like this when paparazzi’s on your tail wherever you go. And obviously Vanessa knows it – you can tell by the way she’s shamefully hiding her face behind her hair in these pictures:

Paparazzi may have caught Vanessa doing something illegal, but did she get caught by the cops? Of course not! She’s a celebrity!

Anyway, another crime that’s also been overlooked in these pictures is Vanessa Hudgens’ tall boots. The high heel, slouchy silhouette and studded finish are too much to pair with her flowing gauzy top and shredded jeans. Add to that her long, wavy hair worn loosely and there’s just too much going on here in Vanessa’s look.

Though celebrity exposure played a big part in this purse’s fast sell-out, I would also like to think that the women who bought it (celebrities included) also liked it for its aesthetic and functional appeal.

For instance, the bow shaped flap may be too girly, but the sprinkle of gold studs on it balances this out and makes it look edgy instead; kind of like, girly meets punk.

The flap also features a vertical stripe that appears to look like grosgrain from afar, but if you look closer, it’s actually made of metal, like a bracelet chain – a very subtle way to add bling to the bag, but definitely adds to the wow factor.

The way the strap is made is also another notable feature; apart from the sprinkle of studs on the shoulder pad, the sides where the straps are looped and attached are fastened with gold studs.

She was spotted leaving Generra in a very casual outfit, save for the lovely pair of high heeled platform sandals on her feet. Both her sweater and shorts were oversized. Thanks to the leather jacket she tied around her waist, the outfit didn’t look as big. To cap off her outfit, she chose a black crossbody as companion for the day.

All in all, though I do not entirely approve of the whole oversized clothing, she carried the outfit pretty well. I think her shoes did the trick. It elevated her casual look and created some balance, negating a bit of the outfit’s “frumpiness”.

If you like this Ashley Olsen style, you can make it your own by borrowing your boyfriend’s sweater for that oversized look, but do scrunch up the sleeves to your elbows.

The Confessions of a Shopaholic star was spotted taking her baby girl to a ballet class in LA, last April 1st.

Though we may not see any resemblance of the Shopaholic fashionista in Isla (save her face, of course), the celebrity mommy sure does know a thing or two about choosing the right shoes and purse to wear.

I love the toe ring gladiator sandals on her feet. It elevates her mommy look a few notches up and gives it a sexier appeal. Of course, forgetting to strap one on is a sign of just how busy this mommy is.

I’ve been seeing a lot of celebrities carrying around these multi-strap, multifunction bags lately. One of them is sexy Latina star turned celebrity mom Jessica Alba, and her shoulder bag slash duffel bag slash cross body bag:

The picture above was taken just three days ago on April 1 when Jessica took her daughter Honor Marie out to lunch with her. Of course there’s no way a Hollywood star like Jessica Alba would be caught dead carrying a cheesy diaper bag, so she lugs all her baby necessities in a nondescript yet still stylish multifunction handbag:

I can see why mom (and even non-mom) celebrities like Jessica Alba increasingly prefer to use bags with lots of straps over single-strap bags. You obviously get more styles out of a single handbag as the straps let you carry it a number of different ways. Jessica Alba in these pictures for example, has to carry Honor Marie in her arms so she carries the bag on her shoulder to keep her hands free. She could use the longer strap and wear the bag as a cross body if she didn’t have a lot of stuff in it, and resort to using the shorter handles and carry it as a shoulder bag or as a tote as she puts more things in the bag.

I initially was averse to multi-strap bags because I feel like the extra straps will always get caught on something. But now, I think the uses that you can get out of this kind of bag overrules that strap problem. Besides, there are always bags that you can buy with detachable straps so you always have the option to leave them on or not.
