Vanessa Hudgens Wears the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag

One thing is for sure this season, sightings of celebrities in maxi dresses, maxi skirts, and boho looks are very abundant.

Leading the pack is none other than High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens. She was spotted a few days ago in Malibu doing some heavy shopping while staying true to her signature style – bohemian chic. Her outfit consisted of a skirt from Black Label, a top from Jen’s Pirate Booty, lenses from Web Eyewear, sandals from Sam Edelman, and the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag, a hot piece that I wrote about months ago (click here to read article).

Vanessa Hudgens

Let’s treasure this picture, shall we? Because rarely will we see V wear a crossbody that has no fringes on it; and this is one of those rare and few occasions.

If you like Vanessa’s Malibu look, getting the exact same one will cost you:

Top – Jen’s Pirate Booty Cha Cha Tube Top, US$79 (Singer22.com)

Skirt – Black Label The Almost Famous Skirt, US$154 (ShopBluePlanet.com)

Sandals – Sam Edelman Gigi Flat Sandals, US$50 (Zappos.com)

Bag – Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag, US$825 (Shopbop.com)

Total = US$1,108

Wow, that much; and that doesn’t even include the sunglasses yet. Actually, it’s the designer bag that will really hike up the price. So if you’re up to it, you can buy the rest of the pieces and just replace the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket with an alternative, here are some options for you:

Steve Madden Zipper Studs Crossbody, on sale for US$74; The Sak Studded Small Drawstring, on sale for US$50

(available at Zappos.com)

Now if you want the whole look for a lot less, then go for these instead:

XCVI Reverie Tie Dye Skirt, on sale for US$97 (6pm.com); Hurley Gianna Cami, on sale for US$21 (6pm.com); Madden Girl Alypso Sandals, on sale for US$20 (6pm.com); Fossil Toni Eyewear, US$35 (Zappos.com); The Sak Studded Small Drawstring, on sale for US$50 (Zappos.com)

Total = US$223. And that already includes the eyewear. Not bad!

It’s Another Fringed Crossbody for Vanessa Hudgens!

We know Vanessa Hudgens is a fan of the fringe, crossbody or otherwise (click here to read article on Vanessa and her collection of fringed crossbody bags). So seeing her wear another fringed number last March 30 (as seen on pictures) was not a surprise.

Vanessa wore a Lucky Brand creation called Get Laced Fringe Crossbody in Western Brown color.

The vintage inspired piece featured scalloped seams and beaded fringes that added to its unique appeal. That and the suede leather material made it the perfect accessory to go with Vanessa’s bohemian style.

We love that Vanessa wears accessible brands every now and then. It shows that she  isn’t all about expensive brands.

The Lucky Brand Get Laced Fringe Crossbody retails for an affordable US$99. If you buy it at Zappos.com, you can purchase it online and enjoy free shipping service.
