It isn’t hard to see why Orlando Bloom seems to be so taken with his wife, Miranda Kerr. The Aussie Victoria’s Secret model is a favorite among paparazzi, which comes as no surprise because she’s very photogenic and is almost always wearing something fashionable. She’s charming, tall, willowy, and has perfect features and the most adorable dimples. It’s no wonder she’s been chosen to wear the $2.5 million Victoria’s Secret bra made by London Jewelers.

A recent photo taken of the apple of Orlando’s eye while she was strolling around New York City with her dog proves to us, as well as to the rest of the fashion world, just how stylish and charming Miranda can be even during a casual day. Her attire was pretty simple. She had on a printed blouse; skinny, black, leather pants; black, low-heeled pumps; and a simple black cross-body and her little dog for accessories. (Dog lovers, please don’t get mad at us for calling her dog an accessory. We think it’s cute!)

It’s going to be the weekend in a couple of days, and we feel that maybe we should make it a weekend of sophistication. And by that statement, we mean that maybe it’s time for another hunt for expensive and über-sophisticated designer bags for a classy Friday night and Saturday night out on the town. There are many shops that can offer us exactly that – poshness in a cross-body small enough to go with a cocktail dress but big enough to put make-up and travel-sized perfume in. This week, we’ve chosen to visit Saks Fifth Avenue, a household name among the fashion savvy and even among those who aren’t.
