Lanvin is one of those brands that gets me drooling every time. This luxury French fashion brand has some of the best offerings of bags, among many other things. I love that their accessories have an ultra-feminine vibe but not too over the top that it looks kitschy. It still retains a good sensibility and even mixes a little avant-garde edge to its girly look.

There are so many crossbody bags out there but there are few that really stand out. The Charlton Crossbody from Michael Kors is one of those few, so we decided to feature it for today’s post. Although the bag has been around for a couple of years now, they constantly release fresh colors and renditions that make us lust for more.

This bag features classic minimalism, which makes it very wearable for anyone and everyone. The push lock closure proves to be very convenient, especially if you have the constant need to get stuff in the purse. We love that it also has a pretty reasonable price tag of $138. Compared to other designer crossbody purses, which can rack up to thousands of dollars, the Charlton definitely gives great value for its price.

It is available in 5 different colors in Nordstrom. I am in love with the Turqoise and Electric Pink renditions. The goldtone push-lock accent just pops out on these bright colors.

I’m always excited when I see exotics in bags and shoes. No matter how it is incorporated, I always seem to love a bag more if there are hints of exotic leathers in it, even if it’s just embossed or printed.

The Cole Haan Chrystie St. Camille Crossbody has that luscious look of exotic leather, minus the impossibly expensive price tags usually associated with lush leathers.
