One thing is for sure this season, sightings of celebrities in maxi dresses, maxi skirts, and boho looks are very abundant.

Leading the pack is none other than High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens. She was spotted a few days ago in Malibu doing some heavy shopping while staying true to her signature style – bohemian chic. Her outfit consisted of a skirt from Black Label, a top from Jen’s Pirate Booty, lenses from Web Eyewear, sandals from Sam Edelman, and the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag, a hot piece that I wrote about months ago (click here to read article).

Let’s treasure this picture, shall we? Because rarely will we see V wear a crossbody that has no fringes on it; and this is one of those rare and few occasions.

I have a very strong feeling that V’s new fringe crossbody is a Cleobella creation. It is very similar to the Cleobella Zula Fringe Bag, which is available at Shopbop.com for US$310:

But unlike the Cleobella Zula which features a studded front patch, the one on Vanessa has a colorful patterned patch.

I couldn’t help but investigate. First stop was the Cleobella website. I did not find the exact same bag, but I did find a tote with a pattern very close to V’s.

By some sheer luck, I came across Freepeople.com, which offers the Cleobella Daniella Clutch. Boy was I overjoyed to find that it is the same patterned front patch style as Vanessa’s fringe purse. They have it in Black Fringe and Brown Fringe.

As it turns out, the pattern on the front patch varies from bag to bag – part of its hand made and organic quality (ergo, it’s eco friendly).

An image of a model carrying almost the exact same purse as Vanessa’s was the final giveaway that she was indeed carrying the Cleobella Daniella.

I guess it’s not that big of a deal but when you’re a famous celebrity like Vanessa Hudgens, it’s probably not a good idea to do something like this when paparazzi’s on your tail wherever you go. And obviously Vanessa knows it – you can tell by the way she’s shamefully hiding her face behind her hair in these pictures:

Paparazzi may have caught Vanessa doing something illegal, but did she get caught by the cops? Of course not! She’s a celebrity!

Anyway, another crime that’s also been overlooked in these pictures is Vanessa Hudgens’ tall boots. The high heel, slouchy silhouette and studded finish are too much to pair with her flowing gauzy top and shredded jeans. Add to that her long, wavy hair worn loosely and there’s just too much going on here in Vanessa’s look.

Her cross body bag is lovely though, and it looks like it’s made of really luxurious leather:
