“I just love your website!  I always find good ideas on which type of bag to buy…By the way, would you please help me with my latest mission. I’m totally digging the crossbody bag that Bar Refaeli wore in Barcelona.”

Our dear reader was talking about the saddle cross-body bag that Bar Refaeli had with her while she was hanging out with a friend at an amusement park in Spain. The supermodel spent the day at the amusement park before heading to Barcelona to promote the new Especially Escada fragrance.

First of all, allow us to say thank you for seeing us as a source of ideas for bags that you want to buy! Providing inspiration and information about cross-bodies is the primary reason we’re here, and we’re very happy to help. Two of the things we love doing here at Cross Body Purses are scouting for bags and trying our hardest to grant readers’ requests.

We can’t find an image that shows a close-up of the bag. But we agree that the saddle bag looks good and is worthy of becoming part of a cross-body lover’s collection. That was why we had a fun time trying to ID the bag.

The good news is that even though we couldn’t find the brand and make of the bag that Bar Refaeli graced the streets of Spain with, we did find three similar styles at Endless and Macy’s.

Take Bar Rafaeli for example, ...Read more »]]> As fashionistas already know, off-duty model style is as fascinating to follow as on-catwalk fashions. As models are the first to wear and showcase designer stuff, it’s interesting to see how that constant exposure to arts and fashion influences their way of mixing and matching pieces on and off the runway.

Take Bar Rafaeli for example, who is best known for her modelling work on Sports Illustrated and as Leo DiCaprio’s arm candy:

She was spotted shopping in Jimmy Choo in Paris last week. She wore this blazer + shorts + tights + combat boots outfit on that very windy Parisian day.

Models are supposed to get away with wearing anything (or nothing) right? But Bar disproves that here and makes us question that denim shorts combo. Rolled-up cuffed denim shorts at that. Are her upper body and feet the only parts of her that get cold? Everyone else in the pictures (including her bodyguard) is in double coats and even parkas, so those semi-sheer stockings she chose to wear with shorts must’ve not been very warm at all.

Her leopard print scarf and her crossbody bag are nice though. They sort of help cover up some parts of her lower body.

ID-ing Bar’s bag is tough work, but here are some similar styles down to that fringe tassel. If you like Bar’s outfit from the waist up, then cop part of that look with these crossbody purses:
