Brad Pitt – Biker Dude in a Crossbody

Have you ever seen a biker wearing a crossbody bag? Here’s one, and he’s HOT!

Brad Pitt in a messenger bag, and about to ride his bike

Ok, so Brad Pitt is not your typical biker dude. Not exactly the biker stereotype that sports the all-black leather outfit with long hair, mustache, beard, dark sunglasses, and rides on a Harley.

But Brad IS indeed a biker…just the urban cool kind who prefers khakis and a white shirt over black leather; who’s fashionable enough to wear a beret before he puts on his helmet; and probably the only one who can make carrying a crossbody while riding on a bike look good.

Not that the bag looks odd that it won’t look good on anyone but Brad. It’s the typical messenger bag a guy would use for his man-things – functional and practical in design, spacious but light and easy to carry, and made of canvas material trimmed with leather for a casual look and feel. It’s the kind of bag that most men wouldn’t mind wearing…unless they’re riding on a tough looking bike!

If you’re a guy who secretly admires Brad Pitt’s style, feel free to emulate his look and check out these man-bags from Fossil. These bear a close resemblance to the bag Brad is wearing, and they are priced well under US$100:

Fossil Men’s Sierra N/S Messenger, US$75

Fossil Men’s Wagner E/W Messenger, US$78

Cleobella Cantina Mini Bag

Aww. How could you not find this mini cantina bag cute:

This is the Cleobella Cantina Mini Bag. The distressed leather is perforated with a diamond design and that yellow lining peeking out is stitched onto the bag by hand. The edges are whipstitched, the buckles are all brass, and cutest thing about it is its teeny tiny size:

So tiny!

It’ll be straining to hold your wallet, your cellphone, and a tube of your favorite lipstick but gosh darn it, it’s just so dang cute.

For something so small, $99.00 may seem like a steep price. But the premium leather, the handstitching, and not to mention that gorgeous very in-the-now turquoise color make the Cleobella Cantina Mini Bag worth every penny.

This mini bag would also look great with almost every spring 2010 fashion trend right now, like the nude/lace, bright colorful prints, sportswear, and safari trends:

Delicate nude lace and brightly colored print or print looks

American sportswear and desert safari looks

Can’t you just imagine the Cleobella Cantina Mini Bag with these outfits? Perhaps the brown version of the mini bag would look better with the nude and sportswear trends, but the turquoise pictured here matches the bright colors and safari trends.

Kellan Lutz, jokingly called the fourth most important Cullen, sports a new red ‘do at the Miami International Airport on Friday, February 5. After playing a tennis match at the New Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport launch earlier that day, he changed into a comfier hoodie and jeans outfit and stuffed his things into a brown leather duffel bag for the flight.

Zachary Quinto just won’t take off that fedora and wears it even to walk his dog on Friday. Zachary’s been seen wearing that hat almost as much as he’s been seen with his Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier. Despite the fedora, Zachary’s dog walking outfits are always casual cool. For this day it was a slim fit sweater, bootcut jeans, oxfords, and a black messenger bag.

It’s nice to see Keanu Reeves not looking homeless for once. Even though he’s sporting some facial stubble, he still looks relatively spiffy compared to this. Keanu can sure clean up nice: he wears a sports jacket over a hoodie, jeans, work boots, and a brown messenger bag for a stroll through Manhattan on Friday.

All of these paparazzi pictures were taken on Friday, February 5. Is the hoodie + jeans + messenger bag + 5 o’clock shadow a new trend among Hollywood actors? If it is, then I don’t mind if it becomes a popular look because it’s comfort without the sloppiness.

Here are 4 more messenger bags I’d like to see on Hollywood men:
