Kellan Lutz, jokingly called the fourth most important Cullen, sports a new red ‘do at the Miami International Airport on Friday, February 5. After playing a tennis match at the New Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport launch earlier that day, he changed into a comfier hoodie and jeans outfit and stuffed his things into a brown leather duffel bag for the flight.

Zachary Quinto just won’t take off that fedora and wears it even to walk his dog on Friday. Zachary’s been seen wearing that hat almost as much as he’s been seen with his Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier. Despite the fedora, Zachary’s dog walking outfits are always casual cool. For this day it was a slim fit sweater, bootcut jeans, oxfords, and a black messenger bag.

It’s nice to see Keanu Reeves not looking homeless for once. Even though he’s sporting some facial stubble, he still looks relatively spiffy compared to this. Keanu can sure clean up nice: he wears a sports jacket over a hoodie, jeans, work boots, and a brown messenger bag for a stroll through Manhattan on Friday.

All of these paparazzi pictures were taken on Friday, February 5. Is the hoodie + jeans + messenger bag + 5 o’clock shadow a new trend among Hollywood actors? If it is, then I don’t mind if it becomes a popular look because it’s comfort without the sloppiness.

Here’s a photo of Reese Witherspoon taken last Christmas (December 2009). She was spotted having coffee with some friends… probably catching up and talking about her recent break-up?

Dressed down in sweater and jeans paired with a classic brown crossbody, Reese looks just like the pretty girl from next door. And with that smile on her face, you wouldn’t think she had just broken with Jake Gyllenhaal. But then again, we all know she was the one who broke it off. Poor Jake, he must be really torn until now. I heard he’s licking his wounds by spending time being an uncle to his sister’s (Maggie Gyllenhaal) kids.

Back to Reese, that brown crossbody on her, pretty much looks like a classic. Some are speculating that it’s a Linea Pelle. However, after checking the designer’s website, I couldn’t find one similar to what Reese is wearing in the picture. So either that bag is very old (from Linea Pelle’s really old collection), or it is very new (a sample from Linea Pelle’s new collection, perhaps?). OR, it could be that the speculation is all wrong and that bag is made by another brand.

Whatever it is, it looks like the kind that can last in your closet for decades (provided it is of good quality and you take great care of it, of course). The basic color and shape of the bag are the things that make it a classic. Much like black, the brown color is also easy to pair with. That’s why every girl should have at least one brown bag in her closet. The same applies for shoes.

The messenger/crossbody style also makes this bag versatile and easy to wear. All the leather used for this messenger bag had been pre-laser cut with the intricate spiderweb design – even the leather straps, the strap support, and the tiny tabs that secure the pockets have it.

Okay, this is getting harder and harder to ignore.

We thought it was just a one time fluke, but Miley Cyrus is dead set on using that gray fur bag as much as she can. She debuted it the same day she wore that cobweb t-shirt so it took a backseat to that, but it looks like she really wants us to notice that gray fur bag. She’s been seen carrying it around about 3 times in a row now, and it feels like there’s no end in sight:

No one has ID’ed that bag yet and we haven’t found the designer responsible for this. The fur is fake and it looks really soft, we’ll give ‘em that one, but poor fashion choices like this made by a celeb who has real influence over young and not-so-young kids can result in disaster. This could mean a comeback of the 90s fur that we really don’t want to see again, possibly mixed with current 2010 trends like digiprints, military, and (dun dun dun) BRIGHT COLORS.

So if you see furry, fuzzy bags in eyeball-wrecking colors and prints crowding the shelves of your favorite stores in the near future, then you know who to blame.

It’s difficult to find a fur bag that doesn’t look childish but if we had to choose, it would probably be something similar to the Wabags Yvette Fur Handbag:

As one of Hollywood’s most coveted brands, it is no surprise that various styles of Rebecca Minkoff bags have been spotted on countless celebrities. One that has immediately caught my attention is the Rebecca Minkoff Clutch. I spotted it first on Keira Knightley. She was donning the embossed black patent version called Morning After Clutch last fall, around November of 2009. Then I spotted the same style in red version on Michelle Trachtenberg soon after.

I find this bag quite unique, it isn’t as tiny as other clutches so you can actually store more inside it, and it comes with a detachable crossbody chain strap that the celebrities obviously love because they wear it the crossbody way. The gold chain strap and gold hardware trimmings are actually my favorite. They make the bag look even more expensive than it already is.

Why are Hilary Duff and the girl in front dressed like they’re gearing up for winter but the two people in the back are dressed up like it’s summer? The first two are all in scarves, sweaters and boots while the last two don’t have jackets and even have their sleeves rolled up.

Whatever the weather was really like that day, the whole point of this post is not to contest whether Hilary was appropriately dressed or not, but just to point out how lovely her white hobo bag is (of course, we’re all about the bags over here at CrossbodyPurses):

Quilted Handbags are everywhere these days. Department store brands to high-end designers offer their own interpretation of this piece of accessory, which, by the way, has already become a classic rather than a trend.

For some reason, a bag with chain straps always looks classier and dressier compared to one with regular leather or fabric straps.
